Job Summary:   The Night Auditor is responsible for closing and documenting end-of-day business for the hotel and restaurant. In addition to performing the business day-end audit procedures, this position entails most regular Front Desk functions including check-ins/outs, guest relations, reservations, hotel security, and ensuring the general welfare, comfort, and safety of our guests. This position demands a mature, reliable individual who can be entrusted with overseeing the property by himself/herself as the only employee onsite for up to eight hours per shift.


Essential Job Duties: include the following; other duties may be assigned:


  • Audit and balance the reports and income from the day shifts in the restaurant, pub, and hotel
  • Greet guests upon arrival, check them in, and provide exceptional customer service to all guests and visitors of the hotel
  • Greet and assist members of the 24-hour GYM located within the hotel
  • Respond immediately to guest inquiries and complaints
  • Answer phones and place reservations
  • Run the automated RoomMaster Day-End Close program
  • Review next day arrival reservations for room availability
  • Assign rooms based on Rooms Sold/Used Analysis Report
  • Create and distribute F&B reservation add-on sheets
  • Provide constant property oversight, ensuring guest safety by responding to alarms, performing regular property walkthroughs
  • Perform front desk administrative duties such as counting cash and creating forms, welcome packets, etc.
  • Perform light cleanings such as emptying office trash, tidying health club, and basic clean-up

Valued Experience/Education:

  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • 2+ years in the hospitality business
  • Accounting experience
  • Experience working alone
