Red Lodge Hospitality is looking for a  Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team! This team is responsible for the oversight of our property’s upkeep, preventative maintenance, and repair of our buildings (multiple locations in Red Lodge). All members of this team share common duties but also bring expertise in core areas.  This position will focus on mechanical upkeep and repairs as well as helping to keep our computer systems and applications up and running. Our maintenance team assists all employees and managers with maintenance needs and is responsible for the upkeep and appearance of our buildings and properties.  


 Essential Job Duties: include the following; other duties may be assigned:  


  • Overall maintenance including painting, carpentry, mechanical repairs 
  • Snow removal and grounds maintenance
  • Contacts and schedules vendors and contractors for necessary building repairs and emergencies that are outside the scope of routine maintenance.
  • Monthly maintenance tasks to ensure all equipment is properly maintained to ensure efficiency and safety
  • Responsible for coordinating regular maintenance for the entire vehicle fleet
  • Works with management to ensure facilities are in proper working order to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction
  • Ensures the outside of the properties present a safe and inviting atmosphere
  • Supports the company values of hard work in a team atmosphere
  • Diagnoses, troubleshoots, and repairs hotel and restaurant systems and equipment
  • Assists with meeting rooms and special event  set up and tear down
  • Works in a safe manner and recognizes unsafe situations and takes appropriate action to ensure the safety of themselves and others in the building

  • Customer service driven
  • Kitchen equipment repair and maintenance, basic plumbing
  • Working knowledge of mechanical equipment
  • Working knowledge of computer systems
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently
  • Organized and can prioritize projects
  • Detailed oriented and can work to a schedule and complete a project on time  


Valued Experience/Education:


  • High school diploma or GED
  • 5 years of relevant building maintenance experience
  • Experience doing maintenance work in a similar type of environment
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
  • Hospitality experience preferred
